1) LEARN TO SEARCH BY DATE RANGE TO LOCATE CONTEMPORARY SOURCES IN DATABASES BY USING THE CUSTOM DATE RANGE FILTER OR TWEAKING THE EXAMPLE QUERIES AT RIGHT (VICTORIAN ERA roughly 1830-1914)
2) CONSIDER YOUR SEARCH TERMS. EXAMPLES INCLUDE "gothic literature"* (*but distinguish British from Southern or American gothic, for example)
"victorian literature" or "victorians and social class" or "victorians and religion" as examples
3) REMEMBER TO LOG INTO DATABASES ANY TIME YOU ARE WORKING OFF CAMPUS WITH A LIBRARY RESOURCE. See off campus access info below
