ARABIC LITERATURE

TIPS AND TRICKS

1) CONSIDER YOUR SEARCH TERMS. For this assignment, focus on author name and any major literary works by said author. EXAMPLES INCLUDE author's name and/or the work and/or place of origin

"Naguib Mahfouz" or "Egypt and Naguib Mahfouz" as examples; for Adonis, you'll need to signify you mean the Syrian poet. Include those in your search terms, or use the given name Ali Ahmad Said Esber -- see here:

“Syrian Poet Adonis.” Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia, 6th Edition, Mar. 2021, p. 1. EBSCOhost, research.ebsco.com/linkprocessor/plink?id=bc5859ed-86d2-3db8-af72-a1c9f6cf6281.

3) REMEMBER TO LOG INTO DATABASES ANY TIME YOU ARE WORKING OFF CAMPUS WITH A LIBRARY RESOURCE. See off campus access info below
