Installing the free Google Slides app on your phone will allow you to open up slides you may use in a class setting, record your screen, deliver the content, and save it as a simple video file for students to view asynchronously. If other screen recording tools intimidate you and you feel super confident with a phone in your hand, this is a quick and simple way to create short videos.

1 Go to Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls, then tap next to Screen Recording.

Tap Start Recording, then wait for the three-second countdown.
Open Control Center and tap . Or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.
